Quality Children’s Dentist Near You (NHS)

We no longer provide NHS treatments to our adult patients. However, as a family dental practice with family values, we still want to help provide affordable care for the family’s younger members.

We recognise that visiting the dentist at an early age helps to develop good oral health and dental habits that last a lifetime. In order to encourage you to keep bringing your child to the dentist, we are continuing to offer NHS dental services for children.

In order for existing clients to ensure their children get their dental treatment free of charge, you will have to register them separately. From there, you can schedule a dental appointment or check-up for your child for free.

Why register your child with a dentist?

As soon as your child’s baby teeth come through, you should register them with a dentist. Milk teeth can decay just as adult teeth can, and studies show that if your children’s teeth suffer from tooth decay it’s much more likely they’ll run into problems as an adult.

Taking your child to the dentist allows them to acclimatise to the dental practice environment. This means they’ll be less likely to be an anxious patient later in life. Our NHS dentist will welcome your child and make them feel relaxed and at home, teaching them how to look after their dental health and building a foundation for future habits.

Your children’s dental health will have an impact on them as an adult. We recommend you bring your child in to see us every 6 months so we can help them maintain their oral hygiene, as well as check up on the health of their teeth.

Always approachable and friendly

We understand it can be challenging to find a dentist that you can trust with your child’s health. Our friendly team is approachable, professional and warm - they’ll be in good hands at Dee Dental Paisley.

We look forward to welcoming your children as NHS patients and providing them with the high-quality dental care you’ve come to expect from our clinic.
